Another Reason to Carry: Raptors Ahead

In addition to being useful in case of an attempted car jacking or other thuggery from the 2 legged criminal element, carrying a weapon can be useful in case you ever see the below sign while driving on the Freeway: Raptors Ahead:

Weapons can also be useful in case you are warned of Zombies roaming the road. To practice defending yourself during random Zombie attacks, you can order Zombie targets from Kenn.

Did you see the one that read " Danger - Zombies - Ahead?"

I'm looking at my .45 and the sign, and all I can think of is the line from Jaws...

"We're gonna need a bigger boat."

I watch too many horror movies as it is, I don't need false warnings making me question my sanity. LOL

Really though. Doesn't today's younger generations have anything better to do then break the law? As humorous as the highway sign pranks are, it is illegal to do that, not to mention that the message that was supposed to be displayed could have been a warning to avoid accidents.

Yes that is very true. In the news link some city representatives mentioned that the signs had been there to warn of construction ahead so there is that lack of warning in addition to excessive slowdown as people braked to take a double take on what they were reading.

An interesting side note - the news story said that "hackers hacked into it" but in reality there was no hacking involved. The real issue is thin layer of easily bypassed security. After doing a quick search I found out that the so-called "hackers" simply used a standard method of resetting the password for the mobile sign to the default password by holding down a couple of keys on the devices keypad & were then able to enter their replacement phrase & post it.

I'm sure that while doing the prank they broke an entire slew of laws & will probably be prosecuted if they get caught.

If I'm slinging a BARRETT .50 cal for all those raptors, then I really DON'T need a CCP...right?
