Hi Dustin,

One day the Second Amendment will be antiquated as I believe we are evolving to the point where it will read that only less than lethal weaponry is allowed to be used for self-defense.

The 2nd Amendment will NEVER be antiquated, although someday when we invent those cool phasers that can be set to "stun" mode that are used on Star Trek to stop the bad people I will be the first to buy one to carry as my primary self defense weapon (once they're mass produced & affordable of course). Current available stun guns, pepper spray, etc. all do not currently make the grade. I recently saw a youtube video of a Police officer that from right next to the bad guy fired a monster spray of pepper spray right in the face of the bad guy, & the bad guy still managed to grab his own gun & shoot the officer to death (all caught on the officer's own dash cam). Stun guns don't work so well against all bad guys, and you can't keep shooting it until the bad guy stops advancing like you can with a real gun.

You don't want to bring pepper spray or a stun gun to a gun fight in today's world. Perhaps in the future when they invent those cool phasers that can be set to stun mode to simply knock the bad guy out long enough for the Police to arrive, most of us will voluntarily move towards less lethal force.
