I've always considered myself to be an American. However, I recently found out from Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security that instead I'm probably a Right Wing Extremist. Why is that you might ask? Simply due to the fact that I support constitutionally protected freedoms & liberties such as the right to keep & bear arms. Napolitano even attacked our honored veterans.
Napolitano, your efforts to divide our Country into squabbling groups you can rule over will only lead to Americans Uniting under the common cause of freedom & common sense. The firmer you tighten your Fascist grip, the more resolute you'll find We the People become, slipping out of your slimy power hungry fingers. You will get a small glimpse of our resolution tomorrow during the Tea Party Protests. I'll be there, as will many of my friends accross the Country, standing in defense of our Freedoms and our American Way of Life.

I too find this unnerving and pointless because it will only further the "right wing" unity. I will be at my local Tea Party tomorrow, wearing my Threeper patches. III
Don't worry, I run a blog and I support half of the things in the DHS letter that are said to be terrorist in nature...I never knew that gun rights, anti abortion, and freedom were a threat. I thought terrorism was cutting off peoples heads and blowing yourself up in a cafe.

This is what we get for our hard earned money. How much of our precious resources was wasted to produce this garbage.
Chris, Fourth, & Anon: So very true!
I just came back from Tucson's Tea Party, and I handed out Podcast business cards. Guess I'm guilty! ^_^
I'm a "right wing extremist" as the media labels me. A lot of stress in the family since my entire family with the exception of my two dying uncles are chi-town ultra left wing liberals and two are socialists with my aunt in chicago wanting the militaryt to go door to door and seizeguns killing all those who oppsose. She actually thinks that. But me owningthem gives her congative dissonance. For instance, I didn't make it to the tea party protest and I was having dinner with my mom. It was on the news. She goes "they all have jobs." I go "so spending our tax money we don't have is ok and all these protestors shouldn't be protesting?" Then she say yes and starts on the usualy canard of blaming bush and and republicans for all our troubles and all the protestors should be happy they work. Calling Rush a drug addict and so. It's hard arguing with her except on guns. She parroted the media's 90% lie and said all guns should be registered and we should only have muskets. I put her down, first time I've even won an argument with her. But I was better educated. But it was hard to get her to swallow the studies I showed her. And she does that mom guilt trip thing to me all the time.
I'm kind or ranting now...
If we're radical right wing extremists, there are many of us. I went to a tea party in Bossier LA and there were between 4000 and 5000 people there - Christian, conservative, anti-abortion, anti-illegals, anti-homosexual gun owners. I will continue to cling to my God, my Guns, and my Freedom.
Nice blog. Please visit mine sometime and contribute if you are so inclined:
Gun Laws Don't Work
Eric: Great idea!
Shawn: I have some of those in my extended family - keep up the great work!
Sharon: Yes, estimates came in at 7,000 to 8,000 here in Phoenix alone. There were many conservatives there, but also many liberals. The thing we all had in common was that we're all mad congress is building up so much debt so very rapidly. As Glenn says - we've moved off of a steam train heading the wrong way onto a Jet Plane going the wrong direction. A bit like falling from the frying pan into the fire!
