Most of you probably don’t know this, but I am a big fan of gospel music, growing up listening to Southern Gospel music in the body of the Happy Goodman Family, The Kingsmen, The Cathedrals, and The Oak Ridge Boys. Even though my daughters give me a hard time about being old-fashioned, I still like that style of music today. It just doesn’t get any better than a good quartet. Through their influence however, I have also learned to love some contemporary Christian music. It gets even better when it has a patriotic theme, such as the song I want to share with you today. I loved the first song I heard from Krista Branch, I Am America, and Maggie’s Notebook shared another one on her blog yesterday that really struck a chord with me.
