Swine Flu

Due to the fact that our Southern Arizona border is with Mexico I've been keeping an eye on the Swine Flu news courtesy of Glenn Beck.  It includes a map of suspected & confirmed Swine Flu Virus cases.  You may find this Swine Flu Q & A usefull as well.

  1. Do not talk about the swine flu. The swine flu cannot hit Arizona. There is no room for the swine flu in the Blog Bash schedule.

Last year we overcame broken bones, we will not be deterred by pig flu! :)

  2. As with everything in life it is best to be prepared. While the government needs to inform its populace... without creating panic... it is up to each individual to care for their own well being and that of their family members. Here is a link to the CDC for information on how to protect you and your family from the the Swine Flu. http://pfx.me/Nz

  3. Not-to-worry guys. The government will just pass a law prohibiting swine flu (with exceptions for "special" people like government researchers, of course). That should eliminate the problem right? Right!?!?

  4. Excellent point. I'm sure Napolitano will get right on that. :)

  5. The checklist was very informative but was missing one thing under the column titled examples of medical, health and emergency supplies:

One 12 ga. shotgun and one .45cal semi-automatic pistol and ammunition to keep away the retards who didn't prepare and think your supplies are up for grabs!

  6. Very true Eric. In my case I have a 12 gauge shotgun & a couple of 9 mm handguns between my wife & I. I have the 9mm glock, she has the Ruger SR-9 because she liked the way it fit in her hands better than my glock did when she was trying out guns. We also have the AR-15 with plenty of spare magazines in case we're defending our home against heavier numbers, such as a mob of man eating cannibals.

  7. In that case I will say "Please " when asking for a drink of water.

  8. Feel free to stop by for a drink of water any time. If my fridge is still running I'll even add ice. :)
