Remember Sheriff DeLeo who maliciously revoked Meleanie Hain's CCW permit without merit? She got it back, and now Meleanie Hain has filed a One Million Dollar lawsuit against Sheriff Michael DeLeo:
In addition to the monetary compensation, Weisberg said he is seeking a court order for DeLeo to undergo law-enforcement education.Hopefully Sheriff DeLeo will learn a valuable lesson: you don't maliciously violate people's natural born but second amendment protected rights & expect to get away with it.
“He needs to be educated that the complaints of a few do not compel him to suppress individual rights,” he said.

I had a small spot about this on my 20 November post...nice to see a happy ending for Meleanie in the works...
Hope they settle out of court (for a nice high undisclosed amount).
