UK: No Gun IMAGES Allowed on Airplanes

Unbelievable. Brad Jayakody was attempting to get through the UK Heathrow Airport security when he was barred from entering because he was wearing a T-shirt with the image of Optimus Prime whose right hand is a gun:

. . . the guy told me to stop and said, 'You cannot get on the plane because there is a gun on your T-shirt . . .

More here.

I guess the UK airport security folks will next start doing strip searches to keep airline passengers safe from children wearing underwear with an image of Optimus Prime. One of my boys loves his Optimus Prime Superhero underwear, and I'm sure he has worn it on at least a couple of flights to visit his grandparents. Shhh, don't tell the TSA!
