AZ: Napolitano Considered for VP on Obama Ticket

There are rumors that Arizona Governor Napolitano is on the list of those being considered for VP on the Obama Ticket. That would be GREAT news for Arizona because Arizona law would require her to step down if she decides to run, regardless of the election outcome.

Under Arizona law, Napolitano would have to resign if she runs with Obama, a prospect that makes the Legislature’s Democratic minority nervous. Secretary of State Jan Brewer, a Republican, would succeed her.

“It would be devastating,” said Democratic Sen. Ken Cheuvront, who recalled that his party had no clout while two Republicans were governor before Napolitano. “We were completely ostracized and made irrelevant.”
All I can say is YES PLEASE! Save Arizona Gun owners from 2 1/2 more years of repression under the rule of Governor VETO Napolitano!
