This state is FULL of gun grabbers and every few months they are trying to pass another bill relating to guns. It's insane; most of the bills are based on bad science or even just "feelings". Absolutely no common sense is involved.Heathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06961853741772866345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063163257624231557.post-16550116852866664692008-06-06T10:41:00.000-07:002008-06-06T10:41:00.000-07:00If you don't stand up for the Bill of Rights, and ...If you don't stand up for the Bill of Rights, and in particular for 2nd Amendment rights, then you will soon end up like us over here in Europe.

http://www.jpfo.org/"I"https://www.blogger.com/profile/16946968811719387933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063163257624231557.post-16721874102608904862008-06-05T18:21:00.000-07:002008-06-05T18:21:00.000-07:00Great looking gun. I bought it over 30 years ago, and it's a great little shooter as well as a piece of history. I plan for it to be an heirloom in my family.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063163257624231557.post-33177620999337162902008-06-05T11:16:00.000-07:002008-06-05T11:16:00.000-07:00Great little video! It's had a lot of ammo fired through it. Yes I...Thanks for the correction on the model Eric.

Yes I agree, it is hard to believe what some folks believe. Anyone who thinks the President has no Power has not followed history or even modern Politics. It is also interesting to note that Hitler was first elected into Office before he corrupted it. Not that I'm saying Obama is a modern Hitler. I'm just saying you should not elect someone into a powerful office if they want to take away your guns. I don't recall who said it, but a Government that fears armed citizens is a government to be feared indeed.Dustinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10234393631788374972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063163257624231557.post-90694286638586326202008-06-04T00:46:00.000-07:002008-06-04T00:46:00.000-07:00Quick and small correction- it's a Colt 1903 Pocke...Quick and small correction- it's a Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless, in .32 acp. I forgot to mention the caliber in the video. Glad you enjoyed it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063163257624231557.post-15025238020013934042008-06-04T00:44:00.000-07:002008-06-04T00:44:00.000-07:00It just felt like something I had to say. The tit...It just felt like something I had to say. The title of the video is a little more incendiary and misleading than I'd care for- I just couldn't think of anything else on the spot and wanted to grab people's attention so they'd hear my piece.

Really, the purpose for the video was to point out the foolishness of blanket ban statements, and hopefully the notion of bans altogether. Why a free citizen with no criminal record should be denied any firearm, much less an antique or family heirloom, because it fits in a category some bureaucrat has deemed "evil" by a text book definition is simply inconceivable to my mind.

I should point out that within the first hour I was called a moron twice and a "stupid American". This is a hot button topic with people. Sadly, there were also name callers supporting me. That does nothing to convince the "intellectuals" who know better than us poor, dumb hillbillies of the validity of an argument. All that to say, if you're going to put yourself out there in a public forum, be thick skinned, informed, well-spoken, and kill 'em with kindness.

When I point out that "moron" is not an effective argument in a debate, but the crime rates in areas where CCW's are permitted vs. D.C. or Chicago are, things usually get better.

The other thing that has shocked me is the people who tell me I don't need to do this video because the President can't really take my guns away. I'm paranoid, etc. I just wonder if we should tell that to the Brits, Aussies, and law-abiding residents of New Orleans...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
